It can be frustrating to walk outside and realize that your vehicle is leaking. You have to determine where the leak is coming from in order to fix it. You may have a coolant leak. The coolant is pink and green. The fluid is thick and has a sweet smell. You should take your car to the mechanic as possible because the engine can overheat if there is a coolant leak.

Your brake fluid can also leak. If the leak is coming from your brake fluid, then it may be a light color. This is another problem that has to be corrected as soon as possible. Additionally, your car may have an oil leak. The color will depend on the type of oil. However, it will typically be gold, black or Amber in color. It may smell like burnt butter or cooking spray.
